Sign Matt’s Nominating Petition

Due to COVID-19, the Connecticut Governor has changed the rules on signing nominating petitions to allow signatures via email (see executive order at the bottom of the page).

Matt needs 2025 signatures by the beginning of August to get on the ballot. All registered voters (electors) in Connecticut’s 2nd district can sign the petition. To send Matt your signature:

  • Download and print the first page of the petition (Matthew Ferrier Nominating Petition)
  • Fill out the name of the town (green block in sample below)
  • Sign and provide your information (yellow blocks in sample below)
    • Based on the executive order, each person must send their petition from their email to verify the validity of the signature-so only one signature per petition and only one petition per email address can be submitted.
      • If you have several people that want to sign the petition, send us an email at the email below and we will arrange a time to witness the signatures in a socially distant manner.
  • Scan or take a picture of the completed form and email it to us at: np@mattferrier.com
  • We will take care of the circulator information on the second page of the form

The green and yellow blocks show where to fill in information when you download and print the actual nominating petition.

Please make sure to use the town name related to the town clerk where you reside. For example, since Matt lives on the Stonington side of Mystic, his town name should be listed as Stonington and not his postal address of Mystic. If you need to check your town name, please see the attached list of CT town clerks.
